explain this
Ok...I found this picture on E-Bay. Is my memory failing? Am I getting that old?? I can not ever remember seeing white pants with the blue jerseys. It is also a pic of the new style uniforms. And looking more closely at the picture it sure looks like a blue strip running down the legs.
Am I missing a game somewhere in my head that they played in these uni's??

Re: explain this
I remember the white jersey-blue pants combo, but not vice-versa. If Torry's pants were gold, it would block out the "6" on the clock - maybe that triggered the Photoshop change.

Re: explain this
I talked to Torry about three years ago in a chat room In the Rams official site.He said he liked the White pants, thought they were snazzi, and he wanted the F.O. to break them out permanent.I'd agree if they made the horns white also.

Re: explain this
I am 90% sure that EDM is right. That game was white on white, not with the blue tops.
Either way I really like this combination and would like to see a game this way.

Re: explain this
This is incorrect. The Rams never wore these uniforms. The only white pants they've worn since the uniform change have been when the jerseys had gold on the side. These pants have a gold 'spear' on the side also, not blue piping, and were only worn with the white jerseys as someone mentioned before. I'll try to find a better picture of the pants, I know there's one with Warner and Az Hakim floating around somewhere. They played 1 game in these uniforms and man am i glad they put them away!
Here's Faulk:

Also, Holt wore #88 the year we wore the white pants. It's Photoshopped.
---
Here's the picture of Hakim. Once again you can't see the gold on the sides, but you can see #81 (Holt's future number).

---
I stumbled upon a Holt picture from the game. Here you can see the gold on the pantss.

Re: explain this
All-white for away games and all-blue for home games would look pretty spiffy. Never liked the gold pants.
Even better.

All blue would look horrific. See the Seahawks and Bills. Simply Atrocious!

Re: explain this
Agreed, but the Bills have a brighter blue (and the red stripes don't make it look any better), and the Seahawks have a dull, grayish blue. The royal blue and gold of the Rams isn't nearly as disgusting, having more of a classic tone. Maybe we could get UtterBlitz and RammieGirl to chime in here.

Not that I ever liked them, but after you permantly ruined them for me, Wraith, anything would be better than the gold pants.

I watch every Rams game and I don't remember all these uni's you guys are talking about. Am I that engrossed in winning and losing that I am oblivious to what the Rams are wearing? If so then, Damn I got a problem.
