The "It" factor.
The Rams are cursed at the WR position.
Robinson, Alexander and Avery are all doing very well, thank you vey much. We get Lloyd, and let him go. We draft Pettis and (name escapes me, from Hawaii), and he's gone.
Pick up Smith, who's worthless. Draft Quick, who's invisible.
Get a practice squad player, who cannot stay healthly. Get Givens, who likes to party. Pass on Leshaun Jackson. Have Bruce and Holt with a shyte team. Haven't had a real TE in 10 years.
(Sorry, forgot Klopfenstein an Onobun:-(). Kendrick's is a tweener. Gibson's a 3 at best,
Yet the Rams simply REFUSE to draft a star WR coming out if college.

Re: The "It" factor.
I don't think it is simply a case of them refusing to draft a star WR. I think it is more of a case that the team had so many needs. I think Fisher wanted to focus on the defense. I'm not second guessing his emphasis on that side of the ball, but the efforts have not paid huge dividends. Since week 5 this defense has been exposed and they are no longer improving from week to week. They also lack the strong leadership, and the tactical skills of a recently accomplished DC.

Re: The "It" factor.
That's Greg Salas from Hawaii, (who we traded for a bag of chips this passed offseason because we have Steve Smith), who's name escapes you.
Let the most talented WR on the roster (when healthy) go, because we have Steve Smith.
Last week DX had 5 catches for 134 yards and a TD and another 7 catches for 96 yards and 2 TDs today. Steve Smith has 13 catches for 125 yards and 0 TDs for the season and making 2.5 million dollars. Dx and Salas together don't make 1.5 million.
Don't need to tell me, the experts can make mistakes.

I understand all our needs.
But sometimes you can overthink things.
You spend $70 M on a QB, get him SOMEBODY to throw to.
And preferably over 6 feet tall and 200+ lbs

I'm questioning if he has the "it" factor.

DX has the IT factor. The chargers fans are loving him right now.

Re: The "It" factor.
"IT" sucks that Sanchez had a 118 passing rating while last week he bottomed out at 40. Sam you ask? 67.....

Yeah, and they needed guys to block. It's frustrating to say the least. I suppose they thought they could get by with the guys they have. Givens has shown flashes, Quick not so much. I guess its the never ending work in progress. As a fan it sucks to continually settle for that.
