The shakeup continues at Rams Park.

I'm not surprised at all to read about a shakeup concerning our defense. I never expected to read this. Wasn't Fahkir Brown one of Haslett's boys from his Saints days?

    WOW!!!!

    GO RAMS!!

I guess you beat me to it DH23. Our posts are similar with Hill's place on the team being questioned.

Not surprised. If I were a betting man, I'd wager he's back burnin' doobs. Wouldn't surprise me if the same were true for Hill and Atogwe.

    Based on nothing, just speculatin'.

I understand that our defense needs a shake-up (wake-up). But is Fahkir Brown the root of all evil on our D?? I haven't liked what I've seen coming out of Rams Park for a while now. However, if we come out looking competitive against the Bills for 4 quarters, I'll back off. If we look like we have since game 1 of this season, I want to see the coaching staff carrying boxes (boxen) out of their offices on Monday.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

    This is a nightmare ...

We are the joke of the league, no doubt, as we just released our top corner, yet Chavous and Hill still roam the halls of Ram's park ...

Wouldn't it have been much more of a statement to cut Hill or Chavous?

This could only mean more Tye Hill on the field. They are determined to have this guy play for some reason. Bill's WRs and QB must have big azz smiles on their face after reading this.

This is what i was thinking. Can Jason Craft really be that much better? That leaves us w/ Hill, Craft, Bartell, Manning JR, Wade, and King [IR]. Does J Wade have cooties or something???

i bet Brown was grumbling out loud about what was going on, i.e. the coaches making changes, thinking the rams couldnt do anything since we were so thin at CB... I guess he found out different..

Re: Fakhir Brown Released as Shakeup Continues

Jason Craft isn't an upgrade over Brown one bit. Craft is much slower and gets beat in man coverage. Why do we always sign washed up players? Except for Spoon and a kicker none of our biggest signings have been junk. Glover isn't even close to half the player he was in Dallas or Orleans. Chavous has been a waste of space, Fakhir Brown hasn't been special, though he never really was. Jason Crafts walker is what slows him down. Jacob Bell? How's he doing? Drew Bennett...Tennessee doesn't release players without getting the most out of them. Except maybe Pacman, but who blames them for that?

Hill should be let go real soon if he doesn't get his act together. And Torry Holt never again gets to advocate a draft pick. Chavous should have been let go a year ago.

Is there any way we can just, sit out the rest of our games? Brian Billick, where art thou?
