    Falcons predictions.

Whats everyones opinions on how this game ends?

I've watched the Falcons, mainly because of Steven Jackson, and their O-line is a mess, poor run and pass protection. If you take away the 50 yard run that he had. he only had 10 rushes for 22 yards. They have trouble defending up the middle, although their secondary isn't a slouch. Their D-line doesn't get much pressure even with the addition of Umenyiora.

Their secondary will cover well and their run defense is exceptional. Obviously Ryan has great receivers along with the great Sj39.

I see our D-line having a field day against the Falcons and linebackers stopping the run. Jared cook might get the most looks but I expect Kendricks to have a great game along with Austin. O-line will protect Bradford against a weak D-line.

    Rams 28-21.

I kinda follow hot Lanta cause my son loves them... I was thinking they had improved the lines but your right Trev seems they are weak where you want to build from. I know the ain'ts were inspired with the situation but will be interesting to see if the Falcons can stiffen up their line play. If not we should be able to handle their skill guys. I expect another nail bite er, down to the wire finish. We may be in for a lot of these kinda games this year. Nice to have Greg there when we need that field goal to win!

Anything can happen any given week but honestly I don't see us getting a win this week. Atlanta is coming off a loss and this will be their home opener. Our secondary had problems with the Card's receivers so the Falcons will give us trouble on defense. I feel we can put points on the board but won't be enough.

I hope your final score is correct but my prediction is Falcons 31-24

Always difficult to win on the road in the NFL. Atlanta is a deep into the playoffs type of team.
Not looking or counting on a win this week. 11.23% chance the Rams win.

Vicenza, Italy ? You have a rough life, eh? I once passed through there heading to Venice from Verona on a month long Europe trip. Italy, one of may favorite countries.

I see this as a FG game and will be betting on the Rams to cover the spread. I look for Givens to have a big game as the Falcons will now focus on Cook. If the Falcons OL is as bad as you say it is then the Rams DL could have 5 sacks and maybe a couple picks.

Rams gave up two big TDs to Fitzgerald so that means Julio could have a big day. Finnegan needs to do something different as he was tortured last week.

Final Score is Falcons 27-24 is my best guess.

"It wasn’t about money at this point. I've been able to have a successful career, especially dealing with some hard times as an individual. But it’s more at this point of my career, [I] want to be a part of something, chasing a Lombardi Trophy. I want to be a part of something special. And at this point where I’m at, and where the Rams are right now, we had a very open discussion, very heart-to-heart, about what my role would be going forward from now. And that’s where the disagreement comes in. It wasn’t about salary. ...

I would stick this on every defensive players locker.

You are not good enough to win now is what he is telling you, You are not part of something special.

I don't see a Ram's win. I just don't think our corners will be able to hold off Ryan and the pass attack. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm not looking forward to seeing Jackson running against us. If he feels like he has anything to prove, it could be a long day.

Roddy has a high ankle sprain and probably won't be at 100% which should help us out, but they still have Julio to deal with. I think he'll have a big game. Also, I heard they have a decent RB. I think Jax will be out to prove we made a mistake letting him walk. He'll be running on all cyls Sunday.

If we are going to win, we'll have to put a ton of pressure on their O-line and force mistakes by Ryan. Also, Bradford will have to put up a lot of points to keep up with the Falcons offense. That being said, the Falcons rarely lose on home turf and I don't think our young guys are up to the task.... yet.

    27-20 Falcons.

My biggest worry is penalties. We had a bunch of stupid penalties in our opener, and barely managed to overcome them - AT HOME! On the road, in Atlanta, the outcome could be a lot different if we continue to display a lack of discipline. Hopefully Fish can get through somehow to our players both young and old (Finnegan!), and eliminate the dead ball fouls at the very least. We will see.. It is too early for a prediction from me - this game should be very revealing - as should the next one against the Cowgirls.

    Rams 27 Falcons 20.......

This is the same Atlanta team that lost to the Saints last week, right?

Our defensive front four with Thunder & Lightning are going to melt Matty Ice!

I think this game is going to be pretty close.

    Rams 27
    Falcons 24
A defeated look of consternation, dissappointment, or even pain. The name derives from the look one often gets when challenged by a large BM.
