The hall of fame edition has Faulk bronzed out on the cover instead of peyton hillis.

Been a long time since I have had Faulk in game this is going to be nice.

Gross stiffarm on Shantae Spencer. I am definitely getting the HOF Edition which is higher in price $89.99 compared to the regular $69.99.

I may actually buy that version too.

Dang you madden and your use of Faulk to make me buy it!

I wonder how good he is on there. I assume he will be ridiculously good to the point where you can't stop him (fun for us, not fun for other people, especially if we can have Faulk and Jackson both).

Boy if Faulk and Jackson can be in the same backfield again, it would be unfair. But hey Im not complaining Haha This def makes me consider buying the special edition.

Maybe when EA loses their exclusive rights license to the NFL and is thus forced to stop treading water and put out a competitive product, I'll consider making Madden an auto-purchase again. Until then, it's a rental for me, no matter whom I'm able to play as.

Sorry, didn't mean to rain on the parade...

Yeah I understand, EA has been milking this franchise as much as it could without lack of making significant strides for creativity and error fixes. I miss 2k Sports in a sense that if there were some competition rather than turning this franchise into a monopoly, EA wouldn't make somewhat of a half-assed product.

Uggghh, every year I say this is the year I'm protesting, but now you're telling me I'm actually gonna spend thirty bucks more?

Last year was the first that I hadn't bought Madden since 2005 or 2006. I'll look at it this year, but I'll have to take a good look at what's been done since 2010.

Maybe I'll head down to my Gamestop and see if they know anyone who'd be willing to let me buy the Marshall cover for like $5.
    I believe!

Agreed. I was never a big fan of the Madden franchise myself and haven't paid full price for one of their games since 07, which I still own and play on a weekly basis. (Seriously, I though I lost my copy of Madden 07 last week and almost had to run out and buy a new/used copy. lol.) Madden 2011 wasn't half bad, but I REALLY miss my 2k.

Re: Faulk is making a come back to the NFL.

I hate paying $60 for a video game because of licensing fees and the belief that because it's on a console they can charge whatever they like. I essentially only buy games out of the gate when they're still that high if I really like them. Madden is one of those games. You guys can complain about Madden all you want, but I played through the years they were killing it on the computer, where they didn't update the graphics for five years and there were huge graphic errors and half the features on the console weren't on the computer. Then they said "oh look no one plays it on the computer anymore, guess we'll stop making it for the computer" and I was forced to buy a console...which I basically use for Madden and NCAA football. That said...I won't be paying $80 for a game, even if Faulk is on the cover. I have a different hobby addiction that takes too much of my money for me to be able to do that.
