Oh come on I say this and thought it was just some guys opinion so didn't post it, oh well.

I really don't care if he retires as long as he is retireing because he thinks he can't perform anymore. It's all just part of the circle of...um....football

That's ashame, I thought maybe one more year would be great, even if he's just on the sideline giving advice, I would've liked that but oh well, you've been a tremendous athlete, and you've been a great ascet for us, thank you so much Marshall, have a great life with your family.

Looks like ESPN is reporting it too. Oh well, at least he's doing it now instead of waiting till camp starts.

with or without faulk, I wouldn't have changed a thing from our draft.

Agree, drafting a RB in the 4th round wasn't going to make a major difference in our depth. Rams will need to pick someone up.

Wonder if they could get Bennett or Travis Henry for a 5th or 6th rounder. If nobody is going to give a 2nd for Edge, Henry or Bennett might be had for a late rounder.

Bennett is an interesting option. He was a rookie the first year Linehan was O-coordinator in Minnesota, and racked up 1200+ yards. Had problems staying on the field in '03 and '04, plus Linehan had his committee thing going on. A backfield of Jackson/Bennett/Fisher could certainly be intriguing.

ESPN is reporting that it is a rumor. So Im still not completely sold. Basically they are receiving there info from the same source we did.

Also Bennett could be a good change up back to Jackson. Bennett is very quick and veyr fast. I could see Bennett 2nd String Running Back and then Tony Fisher 3rd Down Back.
