Re: Favorite Game Ever

SB34 is the obvious choice.

If I had to pick a second I'd say the Seahawks game from a couple of years ago when we came back from 17 points down to win it in overtime with a TD from Shaun McDonald.

Re: Favorite Game Ever

There have been some great ones as of recent. Super bowl 34, 1999 NFC Championship game, Rams vs Seahawks in 2004, Rams vs Texans in 2005...

Re: Favorite Game Ever

SO many to choose from, but I'll pick the Rams vs. ***** game in week 5 or 6 of the 1999 season. That set the tone for the entire year.

Re: Favorite Game Ever

When the Rams beat the Cowboys at Dallas in a playoff game that Flipper kept running through the end zone was fabulous.

However, when Proehl caught that pass against the Bucs and then Tampa marched down the field and almost won it was also a great game.

But the best game for me came in that 1999 season when the Rams snapped that long losing streak against the whiners and Bruce was so elated he cried on the sidelines.

Right on, Roc. :r Two of the greatest games, for sure.

Duck, you've posted yet another very tough one to answer with one choice. :x

One of my all-time favorites ---> Rams Vs. Packers at the L.A. Coliseum, Dec. 9 1967. A MUST win situation to make the playoffs that was accomplished with a last minute super play / blocked punt by our ST, then by a Gabriel to Casey TD pass with seconds left in the 4th Qtr. A packed Coliseum went wild with pandemonium. Coach Allen was carried on the shoulders of Rams players (photo below) while others jumped with joy on the field.

We finished 11-1-2 that yr. // A more complete narration of that fantastic finish here: http://www.geocities.com/ramsezine/articles/history_mjr_ram23_11_15.htm

PS: TX, I believe the game you're referring to, that memorable winning TD pass completion by Flipper, was Vs. the Giants, in NY? Not to worry, it happens to the "best" of us fans!

I used to have a few videos with Dickerson playing but I have no idea where they are now. I was only a few years old at the time but my older bro was a Rams fan. Thanks to him I idolised ED since the age of about 3 or 4 and have been a Rams fan ever since.

Is there any way I could get copies of some of those games off you?
