Favorite Rams SI Cover

Here's another Rams SI cover, October 1966.




It's a staged photo that I used to like back then -- "just because" my Rams where on the cover of course -- but other than being able to name every player (in the team) by their jersey number I didn't become too attached to that cover.

I only remember it well.


This next one, however, I enjoyed more; it had the "in" look of contemporary art. Tommy Mason, Rams RB 1967-70.




PS: Anyone have a pic of the Oct. 9, 2000 SI cover? On Fire! / How Kurt Warner and the Rams' offense are torching the NFL. Front photo of KW shooting a laser guided missile.

This was a great poll. My favorite "looking" cover was Eric Dickerson's and I own that issue, but I voted for "Who IS this guy?" because my Mom brought it to me and said "Here ya go" cause she knew I was a Rams fan and they were kicking ass at that time. They won the SuperBowl that year. *drum cymbal* Like that poster said, ANYTIME the Rams are on the cover, that's really good.
