    Favourite Free Agent Signing

Maybe 1-2 FA's to go with RB still needing a bit of TLC, but we have the bulk of our FA Class Locked and Loaded,

Factoring in compensation given, need and fit, who is your favourite signing??

    fIRST!!! lol

By and far Harvey Dahl. If we would of had him last year would of made a HUGE difference in every aspect of the games we lost close by.

Definitely Dahl. My guess is that SJ39 has about 100-200 more yards and 2-3 more TD's last season with Dahl in as guard. I can't wait to see what he'll do this year.

Quintin Mikell, he's the right puzzle for our system and I can see him being the reason our secondary will improve this year when they were blowing coverage in 1st and 40, 2nd and 22, 3rd and 15.

The fact is we have to many to choose from.......... AND THAT IS GREAT!

I went with norwood but MSW intrigues me I can't wait to see what he can do.

Not to mention Dahl and mikell, Is there a bad choice in this poll?

Dahl. The interior of the O-line was my biggest complaint last year. Some of Jackson's toughest runs last year were just him fighting to get back to the line of scrimmage and then trying to get 2 or 3 yards on an play. I feel good about the tackles, and now I am starting to feel good about the middle of the line as well.

Dahl. He affects the whole offense in a positive way. He will help make our offense more productive.

    Re: Favourite

Some of you know I was a huge Incognito fan, but even then, I realize he deserved to be released. Dahl brings some of that nastiness back to the O-line and hopefully he's a little more smart about it. A rough, run-blocking RG is what we needed, and Dahl fits the bill perfectly.

Mikell was a safety that not only replaced Atogwe, but should be an upgrade in the system Spags likes. He may not be well known now, but he'll become a fan favorite once people see him play.

Dahl. The biggest upgrade of the off season. Happy we did not just go out replace Atogwe and then cal it quits. We got some mild upgrades through out the team and a big upgrade in dahl.

    Re: Favourite

It has to be Dahl/Mikell. Dahl is going to make our offense that much better. He will open so many more holes making our run game much more effective. That will make play action more effective, therefore making our passing game more effective. Hes got a big ripple effect in this offense, that isn't really seen when just watching.

Mikell I think will be going right back to the Pro Bowl after next year. He is going to be damn scary. In Spags system, he should thrive and continue to make solid plays making us forget about Atogwe.

    Re: Favourite

Our problem last year was offensive. Our problem offensively was needing to pass, even on 3rd and short. Even Manning and Brady only complete 65% of their passes. Sam basically could pass it to Amendola or to the dirt last year on 3rd down, so to get a guy like Dahl who can move the defensive tackle to get Jax the yards he needs on 3rd down is going to be huge. Despite everything we already could move the length of the field under Sam as well, but Dahl will help get us those short yards we need when we get into the redzone too.
    I believe!

    Re: Favourite Free Agent Signing

Went Harvey as well, but its nice that there are some others i was considering in Walker / Mikell & now Williams. But Dahl is the surest bet and i think the Marquee signing for the Rams F.O.

Quintin Mikell. I know he's not our most important upgrade, but he's definitely my favorite.

    Re: Favourite Free Agent Signing

Certainly seems like the best crop in a while but maybe that's because there are fewer glaring holes than in the recent past & so many promising youngsters.

In the end, though, I had to go with the big guy.

If a tree falls in the forest & no one is there to hear it, it makes the sound of Harvey Dahl crushing the wind out of Darnell Dockett.

    Re: Favourite Free Agent Signing

I picked Dahl (as most people have done) because I think he can make a huge difference to the offense especially in those short yardage situations. The Rams will no longer have to rely on misdirecting the defense with Jackson running one way and a hand-off to the fullback going the other.

I would also list it as the most surprising of pick ups. I thought with the amount of money already in the O line that we'd see Greco or Goldberg starting this year but I'm glad they did spend to get Dahl.
