    Feel Free To Lock

    The Front Office that...

... got rid of underperforming malcontents like Richie Incognito and Alex Barron.

... lured key players like Jason Brown, Fred Robbins and Na'il Diggs to a team that has not made the playoffs for several years.

... retained key veterans like Steven Jackson, Ron Bartell and O.J. Atogwe.

... drafted Sam Bradford, James Laurinaitis, Rodger Saffold and Brad Fletcher in the last two drafts.

... found contributers like Danny Amendola, Gary Gibson and Larry Grant on the scrap heap.

    and

... has the team playing competitive football with rookies starting at QB and LT and second year players starting at RT, MLB and CB (not to mention a WR corps decimated by injuries).

That's the Front Office that you want to condemn because they decided against renting a 33 year old WR who, though very talented, has been dumped by two teams in the last five weeks.

    This is not fantasy football.

    This is not Madden 2010.

    This is the real world.

You don't have to agree with the decision, but your failure to respect the current Front Office's ability to make decisions for this club is just childish.
If you had a chance to win 100,000 dollars at one or 1million over 20 years which would you take. Cause Moss is the 100,000 dollars while very tempting, I'd rather win the million.

you build a house on rock and it will survive the test of time, you build it on sand and I think you know what happens. we have a firm foundation on rock no need to move it to sand. One rotten apple can ruin the scratch the it will ruin the bunch. You guys have to remember this is a young impressionable team. We are 4-4 with a bunch of people who have yet done anything. We'll be fine.

Perfect post Jigga... perfect post. Rep coming your way.

Though, on a side note, I would much rather the 100 K right now, as I could pay off all of my school loans, my car, and pay off a good part of my mortgage to boot.
    I believe!

honestly I'd take the 100,000 and then put it in a CD, and 20 years later I'd probly have more than 1 million.

Only if that CD had an 11.6% interest rate... good luck getting that!

Does Moss have 20 years of productivity left in him?

If I make my own bank and make my CD have an 11.6% interest rate than yes I will find one. =)

Id take the 100,000 now cause I can turn it into 1 million way before 20 years pass by. Nothing to do with Moss though

I do not understand how some people are truly mad about not picking up Randy Moss. Great post man and I agree 100%.

A little off topic but Ive been in between jobs and while Ive been applying and waiting to hear from companies, Ive been getting up every morning and studying FOREX (Foreign Exchange). The greatest thing about it is leverage - you can bet 100 and at 100:1 you can play with 10,000. Of course its a double edged sword but if you are successful it increases your profit by that much more.

    Re: Feel Free To Lock

A million over 20 years. That's 50k a year and would grow exponentially higher than the original 100k. Oh, and I could either take or walkaway from Moss. He would have only been a temporary solution. I am glad however that the team, specifically Spags and Billy, did not bite.
