A few notes on the game
Salas was really missed as a slot WR.
Quinn did not play much
Long gets his 8th sack, I think he is having that breakout year.
Lloyd just keeps making unreal catches seems like he makes one a game, had another GREAT catch!
Sam is one tough sucker, I thought he was done for the year on that scramble.
Now the O-line is a rag tag group Saffold going out with a head injury. Hope he's ok.
SJax still running hard.
Defense turns in another good game against the run only one big play on the ground.
I'm not a fan of McD's playing calling.
Lloyd is a keeper we need to sign this guy.
Clayton did not play at least I never saw him on the field.
Worst play of the game Brown kicking the ball out of bounds.
Best play of the game... the snap that hit the OG in the leg...Last edited by Rambos; -11-13-2011 at 06:52 PM.

Re: A few notes on the game
Only reason the Rams won the game is the Browns suck worse than the Rams. That looked like two NFL teams going nowhere. It's a win, but at this point it wasn't anything to hoot and holler about.
What I saw...
Bradford is not reading defenses well, not throwing accurately, and not making good decisions. Sophmore jinx, new offense?
Jackson seems to be the only bright spot right now.
Lloyd must be resigned. (but I have little confidence the Rams won't screw that up)
Rams continue to get beat on cutback runs and misdirection plays.
If I played against the Rams, I'd look for whoever was covered by King and throw to him. You probably have about a 70-80% chance for a completion.
When Hoo hoo caught his first pass I commented to the Rams fan beside me that I was surprised that he caught a pass and didn't get injured. Well......we all know how long that lasted. The guy is made of glass.
Rams did everything they could to lose this game, but the Browns wanted to lose it more....
I'm beyond the point where this bothers and angers me. It's just a laugh-fest watching this team perform. They take they lead and then they can't kick the ball inbounds? Really?
The injuries just keep mounting...Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Re: A few notes on the game
One thing everyone needs to remember is that the Browns are 6th in the league in total defense. They are #1 in pass defense. It is not really a surprise that a team that is weak passing the ball struggled against the leagues best pass defense. People are assuming that since they are the Browns they must be horrible when the truth is that the Browns have a good defense this year.

Re: A few notes on the game
Can't argue with a thing you said. The offense is a snoozefest. Rams have the ball with a first down on the Cleveland 25 at the end of the 1st half. Run, Run, Bradford 3 yard incomplete pass when we need 7 yards. Tells you all you need to know about our offense. So much for the genius of Josh McDaniels.
No idea how to address the injury situation other than to say we have a combination of bad luck and guys who are brittle.
I appreciate Jackson more and more each time I see him try and perform with this team.
Defense is better. Laurinaitis is a stud. Those who kept bad-mouthing Chris Long should put their head in an oven. 8 sacks. A testament to hard work and perseverance.
Happy we won- we've had too few of them in recent years, but I'm not gonna dance in the streets over a 1 point win vs. a bad team who blew what amounted to an extra point to possibly win the game.

Re: A few notes on the game
Last week we lost a game that we should've won and this week we won a game that we shoud've lost. All is in balance in the football world now.
