A Few Training Camp Notes

A few notes from the inside....

The Rams are tired. Along with battling the heat when practice was outside, the level of practice is higher than last year.

The special teams players have worked harder in camp this year than any year that any of them remember. One player spoke of his lower body being very sore from the number of repetitions by the special teams. Despite the hamstring problem with Hall, he will play against the Chargers, but his action will be limited.

The players have gotten to see their wives and children at practice even when sessions have been closed to the public. Coach Linehan has been very good about accomodating the family-side of the team.

The only people not looking forward to the end of training camp are those on the bubble. The veterans are tired and homesick. They get to go home after arriving back from the San Diego game ...which will be shown around here on CBS.
