    He was only horrible last year, and you could put that down to the fractured orbital bone that affected his vision for much of the year. He was great in his first season in STL.

    Now a quick question about Verner from a guy that watches few Titans games: does he kick inside into the slot? I think any FA corner we get has to have that ability, as that is where we were exposed the most last year

    I'm not sure I'm buying that. He was beyond terrible this year. Before he went out, opposing QBs had a PERFECT rating against him. I don't see how an injury makes him lose all ability and instincts.

    You think the ability to see properly doesn't affect the way you would play football?

    Now I'm not saying this is the same, but Nnamdi Asomugha played his whole career colour blind.

    Either way, if Fisher and all the coaches thought it was just a one time thing due to injury they would have kept him. His play declined tremendously, and I'm sure the injury had something to do with it but majority was his bad play.

    I think it would affect it for sure, but it wouldn't render you completely useless like Finnegan was this season.
