Shurmer needs to check his drawers and look for his manhood. I believe they packed their stuff up and left before the game. His playcalling was yet again gutless to say the least.

I'm a big Shurmur hater. But I think this game lied on the players more than the play calling.

edit:: You know what. I thought about this and I'm not sure which way I lean. I need to step back. The anger is still too strong to be reasonable.

I agree the players were not that good, but come on man. We have a 6'5" wr and we had a 3rd and goal at the nine where is the freaking fade? Every team in the NFL throws this and its a safe play. Why in the world he runs the same roll out play in the red zone over and over and over and over is beyond me. Alexander had a bad game but catching a fade when you have five inches on a corner should at least be attempted.

    Re: Fire Shumar!!!!!!

We didn't throw one fade to him till it was the third quarter. It was rediculous THIS IS THE SMARTEST POST IVE READ ALL DAY!!! SHURMUR NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!! chris collins worth said bradford threw 26 passes in three quarters, 22 of which were short passes. And we have a pro bowl back for a reason. DONT JUST GIVE HIM 11 CARRIES!!!! OMG i can't deal with this ill be back next week with some sensible banter. Right now i just dont know why we didnt use steven jackson.

None of our WRs would be starting on a quality team. They are all bench warmers. The play calling is pathetic.

What the hell happened to our running game that we started to establish early in the game?

Shumar got a lot out wins of a pretty weak roster this season.

    We play dink and dunk.

Credit where credit is due, we displayed the truest definition of "dink and dunk" offense this season.

Lets not misuse this phrase ever again.

    Re: Fire Shumar!!!!!!

I think we will solve the WR problem in the off season. I think Shurmur will be fine, but the small-ball was hard to watch at times, especially when it cost us game after game.

I would be shocked if things didn't open up more next year.

I agree. The only one I'd give any slack to is Alexander because he's a rookie. Everybody else that played today would be a back-up on a true contender.

Shurmur calls the plays, but its the HC's game plan.

    Re: Fire Shumar!!!!!!

There's plenty of blame to go around on this one. HC, OC, player's, et al.

Why is it so hard to comprehend the fact that the hardest thing to do at the NFL level is to develop a rookie QB and win? Compound that with two of your top WR's going down for the season, it made it nearly impossible. What the offense managed to accomplish with what they had this season was commendable - mostly due to Bradford and of course SJ39.

With that said, if Shurmur is replaced - which I hope happens - it must come quickly. Bradford will need to get as much time as possible to absorb everything that will result from that.
