1969 rams vs. vikings playoff game that we lost. I was 6 years old. This is my earliest memory of any kind. I will never forget crying when we lost and my dad said to me "Think about how the players feel." I remember it like it was yesterday.

I remember watching Rams games as a very young boy, with my dad, back in the mid-sixties, but I don't remember any specific games.

    Re: First Game

Well, I was blessed with a horrible memory so I don't remember much of anything. But the earliest thing that sticks out for me is watching the Rams play the Bills at Rich stadium when I was in elementary school. I got to see my favorite player in Jim Everett.

Late 60s I think, me and a friend watched the DL of Jones, Olsen, Talbert, and Bacon decimate a team. We laughed each time they stuffed the other teams plays. That was when I became a Ram's fan.

    Re: First Game

The first Rams game I watched was Super Bowl XIV. Although I will admit that I didn't become a Rams fan until the move to St. Louis.

    Re: First Game

Boy, I can't remember back that far. The one game that really sticks in my head and the one I can't forget and would have to be the earliest REAL memory, has got to be Super Bowl 14. I remember losing $12 in bets, and as a 10 year old that was a lot of money. I had to ask my parents for it and the were pretty upset.

While I'm sure it was not the first Ram game I saw, the earliest memory I have is the Mud Bowl playoff loss to the Vikings.

    Re: First Game

I would have to say the 1989 playoff game against the G-Men. I had watched several games before with my dad, but never really payed much attention until then. I was riveted the entire time. I was only 10 years old at the time, but will never forget that pass from Everett to Flipper in OT to win the game. I was crushed the next game as the whiners ended my earliest super bowl hopes. Needless to say, I've been hooked ever since.

    Re: First Game

The first game I remember was in 74' at the LA Coliseum against the whiners. I was 6 so I can't recall the score, but I've been addicted ever since.

First game for me was the highlights of the 79 superbowl. I remeber sitting in my dads TV room watching this strange game and the rams helmets just caught my eye. Been a fan ever since.

was that on world of sport when they used to show 10 minutes of a big event I think that was the first rams game I saw in england. When I went to LA in 78 I watched football at the weekend while er indoors sunbathed by the pool as there was no football in england, that would be the first time I saw the rams but can't remember the game and I was most upset when the new pope was chosen and they took the football off to show it

    Re: First Game

The first Rams game I remember seeing was in 1985 in KC. I was up there for the world series and we decided to go to the football game that morning and the baseball game that night it was the greatest sports day of my life.

    Re: First Game

It was September 2001, the very first game ever avaliable for Serbian auditorium! Here, in Serbia, we immediately accept something or throw it away (our calamity) and, of course, you're Amertican football (in Europe, football is soccer, you know) showed me at once what I have missed all my life! I'll never forget those unsuccessful fumble recovery(es) by Eagles then (my cousin became Eagles fan on the very same day)! From then, I became a real Ram (soccer passion just poured over on football) and I don't rally care, if they will be 16-0 or winless, i'll be always there!

    Forza Rams and Red Star!
