first game against denver 9/10

the question has probably been asked a lot, but im so excited and cant wait for the season to start. i want to see how we come out and play against the broncos. do you guys think we have a shot to win?

i believe we have a chance. The Rams passing game should be good enough to take Denver apart, even if they do have Champ Bailey, he cant cover Holt, Bruce and Curtis.

I think the thing that will really decide the game is how the Rams D stacks up against the Broncos rushing attack. They might not have a standout starter at the moment, but everyone knows the Denver system is just good at getting yards on the ground.

Hopefully the Rams O can get a lot of points on the board early and force the Broncos into the air. Even though they have Rod Smith and Javon Walker, i think if Jake Plummer is pressured enough he will throw some picks.

the rams will win this game I guarantee it, If we don't win it was of D mistakes. Jake will throw picks if pressured and we all know that Leonard little will give his all, all we have to do is run 50% Pass% and we can win the game.

In all honesty, I dont think it is unrealistic that the Rams can be 16-0 this year. Denver will be the first victim.

The Rams have more than just a shot to win against Denver.
I believe we will see a solid team, both at offense and defense.

We may lack depth in some areas but if we stay healthy we
will once again be a force to be reckoned with.

I just got me a ticket to the game and I am looking forward to
coming to St. Louis and watching the Rams and taking in some
Cardinals games as well.

Ummmmmm let's see.

Bronco's went to the playoffs last year and the Rams went 6-10. Broncos still have most of their players and coach; Rams have a large number of new players and a new coach. The Bronco's have been quietly successful for the past years and the Rams have put the cast of "The OC" to shame in the drama department.....

I would have to they will not do well. However. I am an optimist and Varg6 is right. On any given Sunday, anytime can win. Since I will be at the game I hope they win!

yeah i think denver is a bit overrated too, but we shall see. the rams can be dangerous when healthy.

we can also be dangerous when were not healthy, just look at last year when we beat the jaguars and the saints, both those games torry holt and marc bulger were out along with more offense and defense starters.

I could be wrong but I think Maimi surprise Denver last year. I believe it was a huge upset early in the year. Maybe Lineham knows how to handle the Broncos D and the key is stopping the run game on D..... Much easier said than done. At least the Rams will have a couple of advantages. It's a Home game and Denver will have no tapes but plain vanilla pre season tapes to look at......

i completely forgot about Denver v Miami last year, when Linehan pulled out some crazy plays at weird times. Like a massively long end-around to Chris Chambers right near the start of the game.

Jaye you should come to the Bash and meet some of the people here in person. It makes posting here more interesting after you have put some faces to the names.

The first game of the season is unpredictable and lots of teams start slow. Denver did lose their opener last season, but that does not mean anything for this season. I hope the Rams win this game and start the season out on a good note.
