I am thrilled with the win. How nice to come to a Monday and have some positives to talk about.

To all that said Bulger was done. Nope. The Rams still have a ton of talent at the skill positions with Bulger, Bruce, Holt and Jackson. McMichael is still a top TE IMO. I think they got a steal in Pittman.

On defense, Ryan and AC look to have bright futures. Spoon looks great. The rest of the LB corp looked good. Still need to upgrade the area though.

Having said this, make no mistake we need at the very minimum the following for next year: Offensively, a guard and a tackle. I still will beat the drums for Starks and Franeca. A speed WR.

Defensively, we still need a speed rushing DE. Add a true MLB and move Spoon to the outside. Add a edge rushing OLB. Dansby from AZ would look good. Finally, get a playmaking safety. Add a corner for depth. Brown is only one more failed drug test from missing serious time. That's eight players. Not all can be filled next offseason, but I think 5-6 spots could be. Get guys back from injury and they should be quite competitive.

It was funny, but there is a Man rule about bringing IT up on a site dedicated to discussion about a great and storied professional football team. Funny or not, I hope a beer can doesn't fall from the sky and crush you.

It won't Richbert, and believe me I do take the team seriously but this year is just one of those wacky years that is just somewhat unexplainable.
