Only 2 of our WR's are 6'3 + ahah. Love it though Em.
If we are 7-9 and are 4th in the West I'm the Queen of England. There is NO way that the other three teams have better than a 7-9 record. It happened in the AFC West last year but I just don't see it happening in our division at all. I just don't have any confidence that the tards, hags, and whiners all have a better record than 7-9.
Thanks Gang! You don't think the Seahawks & Cardinals are 9 win clubs? The Cardinals were literally 3 plays away from 10-6.. The Hawks have gotten better as well (although I think they should start Russell Wilson).. The West will resemble the AFC South in my opinion. One clear cut #1 and very little separation for 2 & 3...
This is how I see it playing out
Arizona could easily go 2-14 (look at their schedule two wins from vikes and fins)
Seattle I would say goes 4-12 (ari x2, vikes and fins)
whiners I see could go 9-7 with the schedule they have
Which that leaves the Rams with 11-5 (losses to bears, pats, pack, jets, and bucs)
Yeah, You realize for all of us to go 7-9, we have to win a lot of non-division games. Highly unlikely every team is going to have 7 wins.
I see a team with 4 wins (cardinals), a couple with 6-8 wins (rams, hawks), and the division winner
I think you guys aren't giving this entire division enough credit.. This is a very good defensive division. All teams have very good special teams & the ability to run the ball. That alone will keep you in many ball games.
Nice work as always...
I think the West is going to up for grabs. To say the 9ers are clear cut, head and shoulders above the rest, based on one year, is going out on a limb IMO. 2009 Arizona Cardinals wins the west, 2010 Seattle Seahawks wins the west and by beating the Rams in a one game playoff. 2011 9ers won the west. I see no pattern here at all of one team running away with the west.
The 9ers made one of the biggest jumps in turn overs. the 9ers relied on their defense and the best turnover-ratio in the NFL -- plus-28. They lead the league in turn overs, not sure they can get that many turnovers this year. They also showed very little faith in there QB by perusing Manning. Not saying they are not the team to beat, they are but they IMO are not going to clearly cruse to the title.
You couldn't handle it lol.
Look at all the schedules and and my scenario could happen. This year we will be tough. Also on the other side i believe our rivals will be exposed. Not impressed by any of their qb situations. I think this is our year, we just need to stay healthy.
Despite the Whiners going 13-3 last season, this division is still up for grabs. The only reason the Whiners had a good record was because of their turnover ratio; when their offense is starting on the 20, it was just as bad as ours. The receivers they'll have this season are mostly one-dimensional deep threats and Alex Smith doesn't have the one-dimensional attribute these guys have, the bulk of his stats mainly came from dump offs, slant throws, and screen passes. So unless Kaepernick steps it up, they won't be going far since their defense is primed for regression meaning less turnovers for Smith to look good.
12-4 season, quote me.
