Speaking of players being hurt, I've got a stupid theory, a guarantee, per se, for our first game against the Eagles.
1.) The Rams will score in their opening offensive drive
2.) The Rams will lose an offensive lineman for the season in their second offensive drive (2006 -- Andy McCollum, 2007 -- Orlando Pace; correct me if I'm wrong)
I sure hope number two doesn't occur. I wrote a comical post on my blog about that, but I get these screwy feelings inside of me that if they do happen that there's something wrong with the world of football we watch.

justin king, hyperextended toe, xrays negative. Gorin hurt shoulder, didnt return for the second half. Thats all that espn had, which is good news under the circumstances.
