the fourth safety, carter et al?
Is there real competition for the 4th safety spot or does carter have that locked up? Oj, chaveous, bartell and carter?

Does anyone else have a different view on that?

As much as I'm not confident in Carter, I'd be highly surprised if either Eiland or Carpenter took his spot behind Chavous.
