Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
I would take
DE Justin Smith, he brings the attitude this defense needs.
DT Terdell Sands, he has the size that the defense needs.
LB: Napolean Harris, he has bounced back this year and has the size tpo ply MLB and SLB.

F & F
Dwight Freeny DE monster pass rusher to put opposite LL. He has run liablities but that is what Victor A. and Claude W. are for. Intense pressure from just your front 4 would do wonders for this teams defensel It won't cure the running woe's but would eliminate the passing ones.
London Fletcher MLB fixing a past mistake, an incredible high energy Middle Linebacker who always gets tons of tackles and allows WW a player with pro bowl potential to move back to his natural outside position (probably strong side)
That is one elite Free agent and one very good but older free agent follows the same mode as last years (Witherspoon and Glover). There are no great run stuffing DT's out there so that will have to be addressed thru the draft (yikes) but we can afford multiple picks on DT hoping to hit on one. A defensive line for Little Glover 1st round DT and Freeny. Linebackers Whitherspoon, Fletcher, Pisa. As for that 1st round DT I would possibly draft DT w/ first two picks emphasis on run stuffing but that is just my dream scenario.

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
a combo of boss bailey, london fletcher, adailus thomas, and bring back corey ivy... boss bailey could come in a play some linebacker for us, fltecher could man the middle once again and thomas would bring a pass rushing threat to compliment little... we could even move to the 3-4 at times.... IVY is a good nickel/dime corner that could bring some value if someone goes down

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
DE Justin Smith - He's been consistently good.
DT Ternell Sands - Big run stopper we need.
LB Napoleon Harris - As someone above said has the size to play MLB/SLB.RamsFan16

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Out of the list you provided that's the trio I would go with as well. I like what Smith brings to the table at RDE in terms of size and motor. Sands is a good fit for NT and at worst could fill the role he has in Oakland as a situational run stopper though after losing Ted Washington I'll be anxious to see if they let Sands go as well. As for Harris, he's been a very efficient run stopper for the Vikings. I'm somewhat suspicious as to whether or not he'll play as consistently here, but I like his chances with Pisa and WW beside him.

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Interesting that you bring up Corey Ivy, I've seen him some this year too and he's playing some pretty good football I think. He's small but with the attitude he plays with he manages to make lots of plays anyway, we shouldn't have let him go, I'm sure he would have been fairly inexpensive to sign as well.
As for the free agents Justin Smith looks good to me, if we sign/draft a DE it shouldn't be a pure pass rusher - we need someone who can play the run with some competence too (i.e I think Dwight Freeney would be a bad idea, too weak against the run + too expensive). It would be hard for me to say no to London Fletcher as our "new" MLB, call me emotional if you must, but I think he has a few good years left still. I can see why some would go with Napoleon Harris over Fletcher, but I've got some doubts about him, I'm not sure he can play well consistently for years. Napoleon Harris is younger and bigger than Fletcher but I think Fletcher has the intangibles and much more consistency in his play so Fletcher would get a slight edge IMO.

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Corey ivy is a tough little man and I still cannot figure out why we let him go he has great ball awareness and he is good at stripping the ball if u can remember last year he stripped edgerin james at the 4 or 5 yardline but the ref said that the colts recovered and recently he stripped a guy and ed reed recovered ran it back he's playing good football with the ravens now we shoulda kept him

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Well if you're going to bring in Bailey and Fletcher, I would imagine Spoon goes back to SLB, where does that leave Pisa? Also I would like to see the Rams transition to a 3-4, but we don't have the personnel to do this just yet. It's a WIP (work-in-progress)
WHAT SAY YE?

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Adulius Thomas, Justin Smith and bring back Corey Ivey. Imagine if we would of just signed Grady Jackson instead of Fisk and traded our third for Ricky Manning. We would of had very good defensive line depth and our corners would of been outstanding.

Re: Which Free Agent would you want?
Well of the four listed he's the most realistic option. Briggs and Fletcher are likely going to command too much in terms of contract terms, and Boss Bailey isn't a free agent in 2007. That leaves only Harris, who has had his ups and downs but certainly has the potential for success. Another lower cost free agent linebacker I'd be interested in the Rams looking into would be Chris Draft.
