- For those that look at the Titans and see an easy victory because of their record from last season, think again. Tennessee has a lot working for it and will provide a stiff test for the home opener for the Rams.
- Titans' coach Jeff Fisher always, always has the Titans prepared to play. He does a great job of getting his team ready and there is no doubt that they will be set for this game regardless of how the final injury report turns out.
- Tennessee's offensive line should give the Rams' run defense a nice challenge this weekend. Other than rookie right tackle Michael Roos, this group is experienced and grizzled. Combine that with Travis Henry and Chris Brown running the ball and you have a tough task at hand. That said, the Rams have been nearly impossible to run on so far this year, especially when they are in the base 4-3 defense.
- Quarterback Steve McNair clearly isn't as mobile as he used to be, but he still provides enough craftiness to do some damage on the move.
- Of course last week's game has lone since been in the past, but after getting a chance to watch it again there were a few standouts that deserve mentioning.
- The review of the statistical finish for Ryan Pickett might have cost him a sack and a half, but he was absolutely dominant in that game. He even dropped into coverage in the zone and did a nice job keeping the tight end from getting open over the middle. Even when Pickett didn't make the play he was occupying a pair of blockers and pushing them wherever he wanted to go.
- Brandon Chillar made some nice plays on special teams and in the regular defense. The Rams are finding ways to work him in the rotation (especially in the nickel) and he is answering the call. Chillar is much improved on special teams from where he was a year ago.
- Corey Ivy is one tough customer. Ivy is not afraid to stick his nose in and make the play. He came up with a couple of excellent tackles to save first downs and on special teams. On one play, he appeared to be blitzing, diagnosed the screen pass, changed direction quickly and made the tackle for a loss.
- Steven Jackson is really starting to feel comfortable and letting his personality shine through. Aside from his tremendous potential as a runner, Jackson is becoming a great quote, too. Listening to Jackson over the past year, he has proven to be an engaging and funny guy off the field. Jackson did an interview this morning with a national radio show and was talking about his parents. When he was asked what his father (who worked for over 30 years at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas), Jackson mentioned that he was now retired. When it was mentioned that putting in that kind of time at a place like that would yield a nice retirement package, Jackson responded with a great line. "Yes, he did have a nice retirement package, his name is Steven Jackson." Jackson is down to earth and certainly took care of his parents when given an opportunity to from his NFL contract, but he's proving to be money on and off the field.

Roos handled Joey Porter week one and Terrell Suggs week two. I think he'll handle Hargrove with ease. I think the Rams are going to be bulldozed by our run game all day.

Roos won't be going up against Hargrove, he'll be going up against the MAN BEAST himself Leonard Little. Roos will be in over his head.

This just in... Leonard Little plays LEFT END. He terrorizes right tackles all around the league.

Thats A Great Quote From Jackson, In Another Post Someone Called The Front Office Stupid,a Stupid Front Office Woundnt Have Moved Up In The Draft To Grab This Guy, He Is A Future Superstar In This League.
