Re: Front office fails again!!!
This thread is a fail.
I hate using the word fail and I wanted Randy Moss as much if not more than the next guy.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
Evidently Childress and Spags are friends, so you know how that goes...
It would be unfortunate if he listened to childress for advice, because well he is garbage.
I definitely disagree with this, we aren't in a position to be choosers, with a depleted WR depth chart.

look on the bright side... it's the Titans not the seahawks or niners.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
ehh, I was fine with or without getting him. I am not a big fan of a player who treats restaurant owners like ****, as well as people he feels are beneath him. Because every human being is exactly the same, there is no need for that. I was going to support him if we picked him up. But I wouldn't mind not having him, he is washed up anyway.

What you see is what you get, but what you see depends on where you stand.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
Eh we didn't have a shot at merriman, bills took him with the first claim.
Surely Broncos or niners would have taken him before us as well.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
The front office has gotten us this far. How about we have a little faith that they actually know what they're doing. They have a better idea than anyone how he would impact a young locker room. This is his 3rd team this year, and there's a pretty good reason for that.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
It wasn't even about the food, that was leaked to cover Childress' behind.
He wanted the masses to follow that food story (and be sympathetic) instead of the fact he cut a WR for pointing out how incompetent he is as a head coach.
They just blew a 3rd pick, his preference in food wasn't a factor in him getting cut.

Re: Front office fails again!!!
The Front Office that...
... got rid of underperforming malcontents like Richie Incognito and Alex Barron.
... lured key players like Jason Brown, Fred Robbins and Na'il Diggs to a team that has not made the playoffs for several years.
... retained key veterans like Steven Jackson, Ron Bartell and O.J. Atogwe.
... drafted Sam Bradford, James Laurinaitis, Rodger Saffold and Brad Fletcher in the last two drafts.
... found contributers like Danny Amendola, Gary Gibson and Larry Grant on the scrap heap.
and
... has the team playing competitive football with rookies starting at QB and LT and second year players starting at RT, MLB and CB (not to mention a WR corps decimated by injuries).
That's the Front Office that you want to condemn because they decided against renting a 33 year old WR who, though very talented, has been dumped by two teams in the last five weeks.
This is not fantasy football.
This is not Madden 2010.
This is the real world.
You don't have to agree with the decision, but your failure to respect the current Front Office's ability to make decisions for this club is just childish.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
