Front Office Finds
It seems that the Rams' front office has done a pretty good job this year finding potential contributers by shopping in the low-priced free agent market.
Corey Ivy: Too small, not a burner, but he has demonstrated some inate football ability. With Butler gone for the season, having a tough minded DB with some experience to help with depth is a very good thing.
Terry Fair: If he can get healthy, he also can provide some good depth in the defensive backfield, and may be the Rams' top option as a KR.
Brandon Greene: I was disappointed when the Rams didn't use a mid-round pick to select a pass rusher, but at this point I doubt they could have found anyone in the 4th-6th round of the draft who would have demonstrated Greene's potential. With Greene and Hargrove, I doubt we'll miss Wistrom and Fisher at all.
Rex Tucker/Tom Nutten: I think we all know that the future of the line lies with Alex Barron, Claude Terrell and, possibly, Larry Turner and Richie Incognito. But, right now, it seems that the Rams can really use the stability that these two veterans bring to the table.

Unfortunately, I'm not that high tech! Its pretty cool, though, that I was able to find a picture of a train with Ram colors!

I'd add Hawthorne and Stone to that list. They've both had better than anticipated preseasons and Hawthorne appears to be (at least for now) the starting FS.

Brandon Greene and Hargrove will push each other for playing time. Between the two they will make plays.

Re: Front Office Finds
MAY be? this guy is the only glimmer of hope I have seen on Kick Returns since Tony Horne. Cason and Harris are TERRIBLE. I say we try Fair at Punt Return also. If the guy is going to just be depth in the backfield, then let him get his playing time returning both punts and kicks.Terry Fair: If he can get healthy, he also can provide some good depth in the defensive backfield, and may be the Rams' top option as a KR.
Unless he has trouble fielding punts, which I would think wouldn't be night and day from Kick Offs?
MacDonald does not have the instinct. He was terrible last year, and so far terrible this year. I'm not even sure the one good one he had negated the yards in the other direction from the other 3.

Why Do You Think He Runs Backwards So Much,i Cant Figure It Out,now I Never Returned Punts But I Have To Think He Knows He Is Not Going To Get Positive Yardage Going Back.

I agree that Stone and Hawthorne should be on the list too.

Re: Front Office Finds
Well, they weren't exactly what I'd call "bargain basement," but the Rams did get them for relatively low prices. In fact, if the Rams had gone after Kendrell Bell or Ed Hartwell instead, they may have ended up paying nearly as much for one player as they did for two.
I like what I'm seeing from C&C. Especially Claiborne. The way he steamrolled Kevin Jones on his sack was a thing a beauty!

Re: Front Office Finds
That's a fair question and there are probably who would like to know the answer, so here goes:

That's all there is to it. If you would like to test and experiment with some of the buttons, there is a "Help" forum to do just that."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
