It Is Funny How All The Bulger Haters and Doubters.

Seem to forget this game so quickly. Like I have stated before, football fans seem out of all other sports fans to have the shortest memories.

Thats the Pro Bowl, it does not count. I'm not a Bulger hater he is our QB. When he wins a SB for us I will never forget that.

I want to see how Marc does this year with a new HC. Some things will remain similar, but I bet enough things will change this year that make a big difference in Bulger's performance. Linehan is known for wanting to protect the QB. We've got Pace (not as great as he once was, but still damn good), we've got Barron (Who will end up as one of the best in the league) and we have a new HC who wants to fill the gaps in the middle. When Marc realizes he doesn't have to dodge, run, scramble, hurry, or pray, he will show a lot of people just how good he is.

    I say he'll have a great season in 2006.

I find it a little surprising that Bulger often gets more credit from the opposition than he does from his own fans.

He's the best option for us under centre. With a little more supportive blocking scheme, less empty backfields, a decent TE option, and greater committment to the run he'll put up some good numbers next year.

It seems to me, particularly on that morass of unfortunate opinion that is the PD board, that the criticism of Bulger stems from the fact he isn't Kurt Warner.

There always seems to be an excuse when Bulger does well and Warner does badly.

Kurt's not here, he now plays for the Arizona Cardinals. I don't wish him Ill and I will always love him for those wonderful , unbelievable days of fantasy football but he's gone.

bulger has proved he can lead one of the most complex offenses in football and anyone who looks at how hes improved the last 3 years can see that his best days are still in front of him.

    whats to hate?

why the seahawks still envy the rams:tongue:

Well said. I agree and I am getting tired of the "Trade Bulger" posts.

Mark Bulger is one of the most accurate QBs in the NFL there's no questioning that. He is also one of the most fragile, physically. With the weak defense the Rams displayed last year the offense had to take alot of chances, putting MB on dangerous situations. If the D can rank somewhere in the middle of the pack next season the O can play tighter to the vest and use the big plays when the opponent doesn't expect it. Predictability is what kills any team in the NFL. Again I know it's a big " IF " but the D is the key to next season.
A defensive ranking of 15th or better and the Rams will be a true threat to get to the big dance.

I am a big fan of Bulger, but the fragile part does seem to be a big weakness. He gets hurt so easily. I am amazed at some of the hits that I have seen other QBs take and they continue to play and welcome the physical challenge. Bulger crumbles and folds when he feels pressure. I guess he knows that he can't take too many hits.

Let's hope he can stay healthy and in one piece this year.

I don't know that Bulger is fragile so much as Martz's schemes offer minimal protection.

If we can get a consistent O-line without injuries next season along with Linehan's new schemes which concentrate more on protecting the QB rather than going empty backfield, Marc should have a great season. Just looking at his numbers from this season shows that he was on course for a huge season and the team wasn't the same when he went down

I'm a Mad Mike fan, and I think he develops the best offensives in the history of the NFL and he can tell you if a QB will succeed or not. He said a while a go that big ben will be one of the best QB, and the history gave him the reason, he also said that MB is a better QB than KW, more accurate, more powerful and smarter than him. Regretfully our O line didn't help him but I still trust him and I believe he can take us way far over the wildcard.
