G/C Tony Wragge Lands Job with Rams
32 minutes ago - by Michael Erler
Wragge lands job with the Rams It didn’t take long for G/C Tony Wragge to find work. The seven-year veteran was released by the ***** Saturday, but he will sign with the Rams, according to The Sacramento Bee. Wragge had a good training camp and preseason but was made expendable when the team drafted G/C Daniel Kilgore with their fifth-round pick.

Who goes Adam Goldberg, Hank Fraley or Drew Miller?
Re: G/C Tony Wragge Lands Job with Rams
That's a very good question. If I was a betting man going off the previous moves, I would say it's bye, bye Miller. Just my guess.
Re: G/C Tony Wragge Lands Job with Rams
I feel a lot better now with a half decent player like Wragge coming in to add some decent depth. Fraley is someone Id rather see on another team in our division. I love the fact he is a bigger type as well. I know Wragge is on the decline some, but I still feel more at ease now, surely he should beat out Fraley. Its so important we improve that O-Line depth.!

Re: G/C Tony Wragge Lands Job with Rams
Rams released C/G Hank Fraley.
The Rams wanted to get bigger on the interior, and former 49er Tony Wragge offers more power than Fraley as a backup to both guard spots as well as center. Fraley can blame new OC Josh McDaniels for the emphasis on power blocking.
Re: G/C Tony Wragge Lands Job with Rams
well atleast Fraley is gone i suppose...
hopefully in the future drafts we will stop spending multiple late round picks on "skilled" position prospects where the success rate is low and spend them on O and D linemen where the success rate is higher.
with the ages of the majority of our interior O and D linemen..i`m guessing we will soon have to address those positions in the draft.
