Who's it gonna be this week? (though I have a sneakin' suspicion....)
I voted Sam. IMO, this was about as high pressure situation for him as a 2nd game can be. This was a game where every little thing he did was going to be compared to RG3 by the media and a certain percentage of our fan base. He blew me away; not only did he outplay the media darling, he showed a lot of leadership. I think this the first game since he's been here where he didn't just manage the game... he won it.
Had to go with Bradford. One of the best overall games I've seen from him.
Danny Amendola
Quote:
Danny Amendola of the St. Louis Rams has 12 receptions in the first half to tie the NFL record set by the Colts' Reggie Wayne.
Finnegan, he sealed the deal with his vintage antics. If not for that penalty, we would've tied and probably lost the game. I'm not surprised Sam and Danny played well, they're both talended players and have a good coaching staff.
Given the issues last year and our concerns after all of the injuries, I gave it to the o line :)
Even tho I wanted to go with Bradford or Danny I had to go with the O-Line... if this was a o-line performance from 2006-2011 we lose.. hands down.
Sammy had the opportunities and Bradford capitalized. :ram:
How I hope and look forward to seeing his QB confidence and skills develop as a result of this game!
I went with Danny. Could have easily gone with Bradford but Danny got me 27 points on my fantasy team in another league. : )
i went and gave credit where due "in the trenches"! our banged up offensive line created holes and bought time. you have to be insane to believe our offense could have done without. also another point and i seen it in the USC game and with whiners with detroit KEEP YOUR DEFENSE FRESH only way can be done is by long sustaining drives. Kudos O-Lines U get Game Ball!!!!
A lot of deserving guys, but Sam Bradford was under the gun, and he came up with a brilliant performance that gave me one of the most satifying wins I've experienced in years.
Have to give props to the Oline they held their own even with Orakpo in and not hurt yet. Stayed together, minimal penalties, excellent runblocking, fiesty play and when one went down another stepped up.
Read somewhere the perfect term:
Frankensteinlike O-line
Well the sum of all the pieces sure as hell got the townsfolk fired up!
I went with Richardson. All good choices but that's a remarkable impact for a late round rookie in his second game.
Went with Cortland. Just because I loved how he got into Morgan's head and sealed the game for us.
I would have liked to have voted for Matthew Mulligan however. Great blocking throughout, caught both of his targets, one for a first down, one for a TD, and he bailed the Rams out after Bradford's pick with a great punt block.
Great job by all candidate
I gave MVP to Bradford when ur a QB and u lose ur the problem; if u win you will receive the highest praise
Id like to give the co-mvp to the O-line; we've called this entire unit out week after week and when they do there job the deserve recognition
