Game 5 MVP: Grounding the Desert Birds
Quite the team effort this week. It will be interesting to see who you choose.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Game 5 MVP: Grounding the Desert Birds
Quinn (6 tackles, 3 sacks, pass defended, forced fumble) gets my vote (though there are several worthy candidates).
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Has to be Quinn he was a beast out there and the reason why it tipped the scale for me, runsupport and containment he also showed up big there.

Game 5 MVP: Grounding the Desert Birds
I think it has to be Chris long. Without his pressure and commanding double teams, quinn isn't able to go HAM all game ...
Great team effort all the way around.

I went with Quinn. He has been doing great but this was his coming out party. And OH what a PARTY!

Game 5 MVP: Grounding the Desert Birds
Going with Jenkins (in recognition of Hub's recognition).
He played well, and while Kolb's no Brady, the receivers are good.
Quinn's amazing though. I especially like his Stevie Wonder sack dance.

Re: Game 5 MVP: Grounding the Desert Birds
Going with Jenkins as well, because he was lined up against Fitzgerald for most of the night and never let him score or break anything real deadly. Fitzy juked him out of his shoes once or twice, but Jenkins also was able to consistently play him hard and deflect or almost pick off his normal two balls per game. Call it a reward vs difficulty vote. He did well against an all-pro, Quinn got 3 sacks against me blocking for Kolb.
Plus: the all time best term for an offensive pass interference call as per Rich Eisen: Larry Fitzgerald "face raped" Jenkins to keep him from intercepting a pass.I believe!
