the game changed completely on one play
One play changed this entire game and it was potentially the most disgraceful defensive play in the history of the franchise. 7-7 end of the second quarter, we are about to stop them again and get the ball back before half and were getting the ball on the second half kickoff. Third and three, the snap to romo is 30 yards behind him and he takes another ten yards to pick it up. Two rams defensive linemen (somehow) completely miss him and then a linebacker whiffs and romo runs 40 yards to make the first down.
that play says it all about the rams season.
Dante Hall and Donnie Jones were excellent today.

That play should be called the "ROMO ROUTE".

Re: the game changed completely on one play
I saw the 3minute version on espn, what a pathetic display of Defense that was, on that particular play.

I agree. I was watching the game with my friends and after that play I honestly said there goes the momentum in there favor, that play is going to change the game. And it did in there favor just as I predicted.

Re: the game changed completely on one play
I agree it changed the momentum at that point, but we still had another half of football to play.

Re: the game changed completely on one play
I would expect a play like that from Vick, McNabb, Vince Young, or even Jeff Garcia... but Romo, I know he's quick but still... I disappointed St. Louis.

Thats just indicative of the season we're having. Be prepared for some more mind boggling plays(or lack of) this season. But on the bright side, it can't get any worse. It just won't get better.

Re: the game changed completely on one play
What a disappointing start to the season. I have yet to see any games or have time to follow the team. Oh well, I guess that it is a good year to be deployed. Take care...

Re: the game changed completely on one play
That's gotta be the most demoralizing play I have ever seen and has finally convinced me that this team is done for this season.
Might as well turn my attention to the 2008 draft, we should be in pretty good position.
I just hope Linehan stays asleep so he doesn't mess that up.

Re: the game changed completely on one play
I have a sneaking feeling that if Romo continues to have success in this league, that play is going to wind up on highlight videos for years to come.

That scramble and the entire 2nd half Romo looked like a young Brett Favre.

Re: the game changed completely on one play
it just befuddles the hell out of me that two ,, two DE's , could not contain him enough to make a tackle or at least hold him up in the area for someone to make a play on that . no , instead , the DE's run into each other to cancel out each other , and now romo is some kind of hero , genius all-star . HOLD ON JUST A SECOND,,,,,,,,,, SORRY , I WAS THROWING UP . WEEEUUUH , THAT ONE HURT . WELL I'M GONNA GO LAY DOWN NOW, MY HEAD HURT'S .
