game day inactives

Inactives today are fitz, turner, setterstrom, jr reed, bryant, alston, byrd and butler. Looks like fisher will start and i guess if he goes down, butler is still too far buried to see the field.

Turley will start at guard for the chiefs.

Is Pisa going to be starting? I know he has been questionable, but we could really use him today against Tony G and co.

Turley is starting at tackle, not guard.

What the heck, I'm sick of not seeing Butler playing. This is stupid.

GC hows Setterstrom coming along. i thought he was doing pretty good early and they were high on him.

Someone please call the coach on his coaches show or at least explain to me how Butler can not be made active on the roster even when Fisher is injured and frequenlty toasted. OH I know some will say special teams but then, Why Reed can't be on the starting roster either when Curtis clearly can NOT return kickoffs. So Carpenter can be left active? I saw him for the first time this week and that was on a 15 yard penalty.

Well since a cliche is something that has become commonplace or overly familiar then yes the fact that Fisher is often tested and found wanting while not the most original thought out there does not detract from the legitimacy of the statement. Nor does it explain why both Reed and Butler are often on the inactive list.

The reason Reed and Butler haven't been active is because they aren't contributing to special teams.

I just emailed Butler for what it is worth. That is my first email to a football player. :)
