Game MVPs
Offense: Marshall Faulk, Grant Williams
Marshall gets a game ball for obvious reasons, as he had his best running game of the year, including a big 40 yard run that iced the game. Grant, who has be (rightly) maligned my many (including me) in recent weeks, played a great game at both RT and LT giving up no sacks.
Defense: Jeremetrius Butler
The pass coverage was extremely good all day, as the Rams held Hasselbeck (who is making a push for my All-Overrated Team) to below 50% completions. Butler played particularly well, and had a big interception to stop a first half drive.
Special Teams: Jeff Wilkins
Money, as usual. Three big FGs kept the breathing room when the offense stalled.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Honorable mention for Defense: Aeneas Williams with the forced fumble toward the end.

Re: Game MVPs
The entire team get it. They stepped it up and awsered the call. The coaching staff made a good gameplan today.

Re: Game MVPs
Give one to everybody. A hell of a game out there by everybody. Even Rich Coady! I didn't think I'd ever say that.
(Although that Aeneas forced fumble saved his buns from giving up a long run to Alexander.)

Re: Game MVPs
Great game, great game. Very difficult to pick MVPs on this one. There was much heart put forth by so many today. Veteran's, rookies, even coaches.
Rams should be proud of themselves by this memorable victory.

Re: Game MVPs
Offense: The entire OL. Easy choice for me. Bulger and Marshall played great, but the OL was just dominant all game long basically.
Defense: Aeneas Williams. What great hustle. It's good to see Aeneas make a play like that with the trouble he has been having this year.
Special Teams: Money. No explanation necessary.
