- Strong safety Adam Archuleta is the only mild surprise on the inactive list for the Rams on Sunday. Archuleta is still dealing with the effects of a concussion and will be replaced again by rookie Jerome Carter.

- The rest of the Rams' inactives are Marc Bulger, Jamie Martin (third quarterback), Travis Fisher, Aveion Cason, Terry Fair, Alex Barron and Ben Noll.

- Martin is available in an emergency situation, but Jeff Smoker is the backup should anything happen to rookie Ryan Fitzpatrick.

- As expected, Barron will be replaced by Rex Tucker at right tackle. Ron Bartell and DeJuan Groce will start at the corners.

- Anthony Hargrove will start at defensive end again. Brandon Green will handle backup duties.

- At least David Allen is up again this week and will get the chance to return kicks.

- Expect nothing short of a knock down, drag out today. The Rams would like to get some big plays through the air, but Washington always wants to grind it out. If the Rams can be physical like they were against Jacksonville, they should be able to hang in there and have a chance to win at the end.

- No real big names on the inactive list for Washington. Quarterback Jason Campbell, safety Omar Stoutmire, running back Ladell Betts, linebacker Robert McCune, receiver James Thrash, tight end Robert Johnson, defensive lineman Cedric Killings and defensive lineman Joe Salave'a.

The Rookie TE Darius Williams isn't inactive so maybe we will see some of him rather than Manu!
