As part of the Rams Reader Team, Kevin Garrett read to kids at the St. Louis Mills Mall and talked to them about the importance of reading on Tuesday, June 22.

Each fall, the St. Louis Rams encourage children to tackle reading by visiting local libraries to join the Rams Reader Team. The Rams Reader Team, a program that targets kids from kindergarten to high school, encourages young readers to visit their local library, sign up to be a Rams Reader Team member, and choose a book from the reading list created from suggestions from the St. Louis Rams football players, head coach Mike Martz and team owner Georgia Frontiere. After registering to become a member of the Rams Reader Team, members will receive a reading list. After reading books, members will receive a full-color poster that includes the reading list on the back as well as other incentive prizes and be registered to win tickets to a Rams’ home game and a party at Rams Park.
