georgia vs. kroenke and the martz debacle
Flashing red light caveat before anyone jumps on me for this post- SHEER SPECULATION ON MY PART
I dont believe that stan kroeke would put up with this crap if he was the majority owner. It is my understanding that kroenke has a right of first refusal on georgias share of the team. While shaw certainly deserves plenty of blame for the lack of leadership in allowing this situation between martz and ziggy to blow up out of control, ultimately, georgia owns the team and no one has heard a peep out of her. Is she totally fossilized or just no longer interested?
Maybe this is the time to talk about stan buying out georgia. Maybe that works better for georgias estate planning anyway, take the cash and figure out who and how to leave it. The tax implications of that strategy may be prohibitive, but i would certainly LOVE to see some real leadership from the VERY top of the organization right now, rather than what i view as a dispute between the management and operations side of the business.
This is the kind of situation in the corporate world where ownership needs to step in since the behavior involved is hurting everyone and potentially damaging the long range prospects of the squad. Are free agents going to want to come to st louis in this type of situation. Will guys want to stay?
Ramming speed to all, time for stan the man to take over the ship

I agree with you GC, Shaw is running the show long distance. It would be nice to have an owner that was more hands on, as long as they had a clue.

depends how long the old bird lives. The tax implications of that strategy may be prohibitive"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: georgia vs. kroenke and the martz debacle
I agree GC.
I'm somewhat surprised that Georgia has lasted this long owning the team.
I've posted this else where; someone needs to buy this team and restore RAM pride and dignity.
This organization has been in existence for 68 years, and we only have 3 NFL championships. (45',51',99')
We should have more.:clanram:
So with that said, I'll pitch in the first $50 (dollars) toward taking control of the team. Who's with me?

Ya.It took a threat by Sulieman and illness to bring shaw into the mix.Sometimes I think Zig and the rest of the front office try every ploy to keep shaw clueless of whats really going on.Thats why it took the Martz,Zigmunt, and Sulieman Nationwide news to bring this guy out of solitude.
