Not heard from any other sources, but straight out the horses mouth means its likely true!

I'm glad really, because i hadn't been impressed with him as a receiver or returner

Yeah, him breaking the news on his own Twitter probably helps confirm it.

I thought Gilyard made strides this preseason, but apparently not enough to earn a spot on the roster. As a Big East fan, I'm sad to see he didn't work out for the Rams.

I understand the first line, but
can anyone translate what the second part means?
A defeated look of consternation, dissappointment, or even pain. The name derives from the look one often gets when challenged by a large BM.

Not too surprised. I was pulling for the kid early, but he did him self in with the fourth game. I bet/hope the Rams look to the cuts to add a new reciever.

Let's see... 3 guys returning who are better than him, two signings that are much better than him, and two mid grade rookies.

Not surprised and very happy that this happened as opposed to losing one of the rooks trying to sneak them to the PS.
    I believe!

I guess I read too many forums where young people post, mostly VW forums.

The one I have been seing a lot lately, and still haven't figured out, is NBD. In the business would, that would be Next Business Day, but that is not how it is being used.

No need what so ever for him. Doesn't play offense unless its a screen and muffs punts. Goodbye Gilyard.

    Re: Gilyard released?

I am willing to go with the FO decision and support our WR core...

but who will return kicks and punts? ? Danny and Salas????

I bet the fact that the NFL moved the Kickoffs up 5 yards probably cost Gilyard his spot. Since KO's was his specialty, he isn't needed as much.

I really thought he would make the team for KRs -- but now I am looking forward to Salas or Pettis really developing this season. We took Gilyard over Mike Williams and Pettis and Salas over many other WRs....

Lets see what happens....very interesting, the Rams don't want to miss on 3 WRs in 2 years..

Norwood. He is one of the league's best when healthy.

Hope someone does a good job, because I didn't really want Danny doing it, nor were we great at it...
