Glover sound interview--Coach-Bruce deal hoping to get done

Posted by GoosesGanders on another board:

Listening to the press conference right now. Glover sounded confident that there was enough talent here to turn things around quickly. Said that he didn't want to be out there with the CBA situation. Knew what Haslett and other coaches brought to the table and thought this offense was still very potent. He said he knew Dallas was going to release him and even though he switched to the 3-4 was still able to have a pro bowl year. He said he is a leader in the locker room and looks forward to working with a young line to get them focused and work to achieve more. Linehan is talking now and said he is confident that they will resign Bruce. Said that he wants Bruce here and they will do everything they need to get him resigned. Just because they signed Glover does not mean they don't have interest in Pickett or adding another DL. They plan on being aggressive in FA to fill holes and get the right type of players to become a playoff team. He said it was nice to add Glover and it is too bad we are in the situation with Issac but feels that they will do what needs to be done to make this a very successful offseason.

Glover would be a great mentor to Kennedy. Hopefully Pickett will be resigned and we'll have a good DT rotation. Hopefully Bruce gets resigned next.
