Im happy we beat you guys, but we have some serious issues stopping the run. Desean shouldve had one more Td but he couldnt hold on. You guys did look good however. I think you make the playoffs this season. Your defense looked pretty good. I havent seen your defense look so good in years. Good luck with the rest of your season. Too many injuries to not be seriously worried about this start. Terrible mistakes by the safeties that were punished severely by Vick & the young Ram pass catchers left a lot of plays on the field with those drops but, like DeSean's, hopefully that stuff will iron itself out as they get in the groove .Surprised at how well your makeshift line held up. Reid gave his former pupil a lesson, for sure, in how to adapt.

Honestly, I wish that were the case. The Eagles were not at all impressive. We lost because our players couldn't catch balls in the open field (Kendricks dropped what looked to be a sure TD, and he wasn't the only one to drop an easy pass). We lost because our kicker sent one wide from an easy range. We lost because the Eagles injured 4 of our starters on offense, and threw at us right after literally knocking out our top corner. IMO, it was an embarrassment to lose to that Eagles team.

Todays game wasnt the end of the world, it was poor, but we'll get over it. We have got the ability too improve, and we will.? It was just one them days at the office. The Eagles were either better on offense or the Rams were worse on defense than I originally thought. Our defense does suck, you guys lost on your home turf and you had the better defense so yeah in a way you should be embarrassed you lost to a team that was in the playoffs last season thats better than any team in that weak division of yours. People are just venting & you're an easy target. Don't let it degenerate into a smack fest,please. There were questionable calls/non calls both ways, as always. Shoulda/woulda/coulda is always futile as well. A less mobile QB than Vick woulda been sacked numerous times. A better Philly defense shoulda stuffed a back up RB retread like Cadillac. It could go on all day.

The one spot where The Rams had a major advantage,imo, was DL vs OL but the Ram DEs failed to take advantage. That Spags HAS to be embarrassed about. We knew safety Dahl & 3rd DB King were suspect but that was still disappointingly bad. The Eagles won the trenches battle & defended their EZ better & that's the bottom line.

SJackson hurt, Amendola out, Bradford trips and fumbles(7pts turned game around), Kicker misses fg,DBs commit costly penalties, receivers drop ball after ball (drive killers), we played horrible, and Philly took advantage, but make no mistake, we ran all over the Iggles with a backup running back, they HAVE been exposed and will LOSE to teams that can run the ball. Whatever, lets get over it, NY is next.

I'm with you heff. The Rams played horribly. The Eagles beyond Vick being Vick didn't play all that well. The better teams are going to bring them and their fans back to earth. Good riddance to the Eagles fans for the rest of the year.

My point isn't that the Eagles are especially bad, but they were by no means a dominant team. At half, they were up 17-10 having started with possession--and 7 of those points were scored by the defense after another Rams foul-up. On one of the Eagles' scoring drives, they moved the ball 63 yards--25 of which were given to them by the refs. Vick completed 43% of his passes. That is not dominant offense.

On our part, we settled for a FG when we should have had a TD after Kendricks' drop. We settled for a FG after another false start. We got nothing after Brown missed a 47-yard attempt at home in a dome. We left 11 points on the table through no one's fault but our own. Without those mistakes, it would have been 24-24 by the time Bradford went down with injury--after we had lost 4 other key players. None of that is because the Eagles were such a good team. It was because the Rams players didn't make the plays they were perfectly capable of making.
