I met Ernie Conwell last year after the monday night opener vs. Denver in the Dome locker rooms. We had a brief talk and i found out what a nice person he is.
Three or four days later i went to visit Rams Park and i met him again, and he was the first one to say me hello, remembering our brief meeting after the game. I was very impressed

You know... you're used to hear about those superstar players treating bad all the world, so i was amazed to meet a "normal" person like him.___________________________________________________________

Oh well... and i can't forget of my meeting with Mrs. Goergia Frontiere

After the game there was the Martz press conference. I was a the door of the press room and i didn't dare to enter (i was there with a press pass but i was feeling like everyone knew i wasn't a press man
). So there was this woman in a blue tailleur coming to me, taking my arm with her enormous two-fingers superbowl ring telling me: "Please, enter and sit down".

John Jacobs
Masi love the GF story, I hope you did as you were told !
I was in the Claymores supporters club on Saturday, just for a change I had Rams( Super Bowl) hat and my 98 Rampager/Clanram bash T shirt on. As I walked by one of the Claymores he said "hey I was on that team" .
The guy was John Jacobs and he was a DT at camp with the Rams in 99 but obviously still has a soft spot for the team. The real reason I mentioned the story was that John had just blown his knee (ACL & MCL)
at the game on Saturday but he was still upstairs talking to the fans and he still had time to chat for a couple of minutes to a Rams fan. A truely nice guy I wish him all the best in his re hab even if he is now a Chief

Yes DOD, i entered the room and attended the second half of the press conference.
When Martz ended his speech, we were told to wait for Kurt Warner, but he was forced to cancel his press conference because of a TV interview which lasted too long
BTW, i'll be at the World Bowl with a field pass, so look for me with my Rampager T-shirt next Saturday

I have no incredible up close and personal stories. Met some really cool players last year at camp. Hope I will have stories from this camp.
As I was getting an autograph from Kevin Carter at camp, he noticed my long finger nails painted dark blue with gold glitter. He said "Grant would eat these." I think he was suggesting that Grant Wistrom chews his nails. He also was going to go play a 'real sport' after practice...golf. I had to laugh.
Ernie is looking to have a great year this season. I thought he played well before, can't wait to see him play totally healthy.
