Grass versus Turf
During the Rams run to the championship Dick V. acquired a talented group of players that played extremely well on turf.
My question to the clan is do you believe the Rams current players are better suited for the turf or grass?
In my opinion the Rams are a much better team on grass. They are bigger and stronger and the speed that was the biggest strength to the greatest show on turf is long gone and replace with stronger and slower players on both sides of the ball.
I do believe this will make the team stronger on the road. Hopefully they can find a way to win at home.
Go Rams

Re: Grass versus Turf
I don't think it makes a difference. Perhaps if it were that old astroturf it would, but the turf now is so much like grass it doesn't make a difference.

Re: Grass versus Turf
Turf seems to be the only reason for injuries on this team outside of a supernatural curse. So I will go with grass

Re: Grass versus Turf
I hate turf. I think it's the managements way of cheaping out at the risk of the players.

Re: Grass versus Turf
I truly believe all football stadiums should be outdoors and have real grass. I also wish that our team was in a place where our biggest concern was the type of field we played on instead of all of the other problems we have had in the past 5 years. GO Kroenke!!!

Re: Grass versus Turf
Dome renovations have been on the news since Kroenke's bid was accepted. Part of the discussion has involved taking the roof off the dome. If that happens I would assume that would mean we get a grass field.

Re: Grass versus Turf
Didn't we recently got some new AstroTurf around the dome? I personally don't mind getting grass but from what I've read according to wiki, dates around September and October are still hot and I don't know if it's significantly humid so I'd suggest getting a movable roof like the University of Phoenix Stadium to adapt through certain climates changes within the city.
