Gratefulness
It was a very disheartening season.
The harbinger spoke early. We all heard his voice, but in hope, we mostly chose not to listen, and covered our ears to his voice. As he spoke in the beginning, so he spoke in the end, and in the end, we wept.
But I want to say that through this season of sourness, I have found something enjoyable.
I've appreciated the contributions Clannies have made, and dialogs I've had with several of you. Gleening from the knowledge of Nick and GC, the pondering the wisdom of Tx, laughing at the magnificently perfect British wit of Adarian, the clash with Hub, the rebuke from JRams, and the intriguing tete-a-tete, I've had with the fascinating Blitz, have sweetened this season's bitter taste.
My thanks to Dez for running the board.
I promise you, the Rams will have a better season next year.

Re: Gratefulness
You know, I might feel left out by coy's post if it were not for the lovely Hickory Farms gift basket he sent me. Man, that smoked gouda was tasty.

Re: Gratefulness
Maybe he's referring to that time that you, me, tx and coy all got ripped on ouzo and acted out the entire script of "Clash of the Titans."

Oh, freakin'-a, I forgot all about that. Dude, when tx put that bowl of pasta on his head and did the Medusa scene, I hit the floor.

Re: Gratefulness
I enjoyed our little chat as well Coy.
Where, oh where, has adarian slipped off to now. He seems to be missing. Perhaps he has stumbled into a patch of something good, or perhaps he has fallen in that hole in the front porch again.

No doubt Adarian is lunching with Blacktrout and preparing to withstand the dark fog of winter hell.

I'm sorry. I was traumatizid by the beating I took in another thread.
As Uncle Duke reminded me: when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Re: Gratefulness
You can't be that sensitive. I don't believe it.
Tell me that you are not still sulking around just because I beat you.

I don't know. Maybe it's because they pulled my Clannie Award. Or maybe it's the fact that AV had a warrant pulled for my arrest for age, sex, and drug discrimination.
Maybe I failed the court-ordered sensitivity classes (I thought I was addressing denial when I said age doesn't matter while having sex and that discriminating between drugs was good). I just don't know anymore.

Re: Gratefulness
What is with all the information requests anyway? This is the internet. A hidden world of make believe. Why must we make up facts to present to the public? We are not real. I am pretty sure we aren't.
I am sorry that they stripped you of your award. That is a sad thing.

Re: Gratefulness
Oh, it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' 'Tommy, go away':
But it's 'Thank you, Mister Atkins,' when the band begins to play -
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
Oh, it's 'Thank you, Mister Atkins,' when the band begins to play.
