Re: Greetings, Rams fans.
Hi!
Thanks for being so cordial. It's nice to have a fan coming in with some class.
Do you think Cassel will be good to go this weekend? You're obviously a much better team without Croyle in the lineup. I think that if Ron Bartell is healthier and our front four can generate some pressure then our defense will have a much better time than they did against NO. The keys to the game for us are fairly simple: Contain Bowe and Charles, control the clock, don't turn the ball over. If we do that, we have a chance to stay in the game.
The Saints blitzed us repeatedly last week and it worked to an extent. Lot of pressure on Bradford and I expect the Cheifs to follow a similar formula. If you can force Bradford into some turnovers or create some of your own on D/ST, then I think that you could run away with the game on the scoreboard like the Saints did. Look for us to be competitive no matter the score, and maybe for our QB to run ninety yards down the field chasing a fumble recovery. Hah!
All the best.

The Chiefs are preparing that way. I would be surprised if he wasn't playing.
I imagine the Chiefs will copy New Orleans' gameplan. The Chiefs haven't blitzed much this year but Crennel has done a great job.
What can you tell me about your run defense?

Would that gameplan be to blitz the hell outta Sam? Everybody we've played have been doing that, only a few have been successful.
I havent seen much of the chiefs in recent weeks, but i know Bowe, Charles and McCluster could cause some problems. Im just looking forward to a good game, ideally a winning game :D

The thing I am scared about is Tamba Hali. This guy has finally broke out of his shell this season like our own Chris Long. He is a pass rushing monster. We need to contain him or we will have a long day. Also, we look really bad against speed backs. So expect Charles to break 100 yards. I think we can handle Bowe. Bartell is good playing with big physical receivers.
McCluster is scary. Do we really have anyone that can keep up with him? We have to take care of him...Either Bradley Fletcher or our 3rd DB which will probably be Quincy Butler.

Thank for the input. Do either of the Rams' tackles struggle in pass protection? Hali rushes from both sides.
Re: Greetings, Rams fans.
Not really. Saffold has only given up two sacks all year and Smith is at the very least solid.

I haven't seen Hali in action, so it depends on how he rushes. If he's more physical, and more of a bull rusher, I think the Chiefs will have better success putting him up with our rookie LT Saffold, because at times he can get outmatched and pushed back by stronger linemen.
Our right tackle Jason Smith on the other hand, is a physical specimen who is a nasty blocker and can hold his own against stronger linemen, especially during run plays, but he can struggle against smaller faster rushers.
Re: Greetings, Rams fans.
Hali has a great bullrush but he is very adept at using his hands in tandem with quickness to get past a guy to the outside.
If Bradford can move well in the pocket he'll probably escape. If not, Hali feasts on that kind of QB.

I think you'll find that Sam is surprisingly mobile.

Sam isnt vick by any means but he wont sit in the pocket and get sacked. He is athletic but doesnt look to run first.
