He is also the first rookie kicker ever to hit from 60+!
The youngster is really something special to watch, I'll tell you that. It hasnt sunk in i yet ( for me at least ) to know that our rookie K and P are playing like veterans, and at such a high level. They have stepped in and simply overwhelmed us with 60+ yarders and deep, game/field/momentum changing punts. I must say, I am truly impressed with not only them but the scouting dept. for locating such exceptional talent that late in the draft, if not then in the undrafted free agent pool
I thought Janikowski would be the guy who broke Tom Dempsey's eternal-standing 63 yard record but I don't see that happening for him any more. Legatron? Definitely can see him doing it and it might even be this year.
And the best part.............he's on my fantasy team! :)

Entering into field goal range after just crossing mid-field, thats a weapon.
Greg has scored all of our points the last two games. Actually, that is really scary and intensely sad.
Let's hope he doesn't. As much as I appreciate having a kicker who can hit from that range, if we're kicking a 58-yarder, that means the offense has stalled at about the 41.Quote:
