If you go beyond Rotoworld to actually find the Post Dispatch article it cites, it turns out it was a one-line piece of speculation in Neil Joellenbeck's blog that has absolutely no weight at all. Joellenbeck simply threw it out there as a wild guess, probably thinking it was logical due to the Linehan/Miami connection but as Roto points out Harrington was a post-Linehan acquisition.
There really is absolutely no substance to this. Anything from Rotoworld needs to be looked into simply because they report just about anything anyone says, which isn't necessarily bad but obviously you get situations like this where one line in an article is reported and then blown out of proportion by fans.

Who cares? Its not like he's going to start over Gus, let alone Bulger. Maybe if he doesn't trust Fitzpatrick, he'd want to have a more trusted 3rd string QB like Harrington. As long as he doesn't mess up any acquistions in FA, I honestly don't care what they do.

As Nick pointed out, this is just filler. One man throws out a thought (not even a full idea, just a passing thought), and the next in line repeats it with a little more authority until the final product sounds like a possibility or even probability.
