Good character, good moves, great attitude, and... he likes dogs! The Rams deserve it. Man, we've been snakebit at the DT position. Look...I know he's not going to the pro bowl, but really, have we had better reason to be optimistic over the last 5 years?

Did y'all read where Pickett is on the PUP list aftter failing his physical, apparently due to conditioning issues? Keeps getting better and better.

IMO, we're a year away form being elite, which I think will happen, but I guarantee y'all, the Rams are going to be fun to watch, absent the same old this, and the same old that ,and the same old other thing (mistake wise) that we've all been subjected to over the last 5 years.

Bring on the ....hell, bring 'em all on.

After they drafted this guy, i have read up on him. IMO in a few years (hopefully sooner) he will be a regular in the pro bowl.

Nor was I, but I'm sure that it was parallel to the optimism displayed on this board regarding Adam.

I'm sure every fan thinks that their #1 draft pick is a future probowler/1st ballot HOF inductee.

Yes, but JK's stock was falling prior to the draft (he was a surefire top 5 or 10 pick at first) and despite his physical talent, he dropped to us because of concerns about his attitude and work ethic. While being optimistic about his huge potential, that reason for concern was always in the back of our minds.

With Carriker, there are no question marks when it comes to his attitude and work ethic. The only doubt I have is that he won't naturally fit as a Nose Tackle - no matter how much weight he gains, I just don't think he has the body type to hold up and consistently clog the middle. However, the Rams are keeping their options open about going with a "right" and "left" tackle instead of nose and three-technique, and I think that'll end up being the case.

No, no, no, not especially after he cried and complained that Bill Kollar cursed and yelled at him too much and he could'nt get used to that kinda stuff. And how many times did we already hear Martz say "we just couldnt believe he was still there" when Kennedy was picked up in the draft.
