Business is business, but broken promises are rotten no matter how you try to spin this. It's not even like there were mitigating circumstances like an injury setback or drastic decline in performance.

GC, how could this FO treat the great Isaac Bruce this way,nobody else could step up and stop it,I agree with everything you have said about new owner Chip,he must have known how important Isaac was to this organization,the Rams FO deserves any bad press they get for this.

I hope this isn't true. I really thought the Rams would have, out of respect for what he has done for this organization, paid him at least 4 million in 08. I can still picture when he adjusted and made the winning TD for our 1st SB.

I come home from a Vegas weekend to hear this? As a Rams fan I'm stunned and embarrassed. I can understand a business decision, but to lie and break your word to one of the greatest, if not THE greatest Ram of all time is the ultimate outrage. Jay Zigmunt could get no lower if this is true.

You missed the point. This is about the Rams allegedly lying to Bruce about promised money and then not paying it and cutting him, not just about letting stars walk.
