Hakim??
"Hakim has drawn interest from the Cardinals, but will likely not decide on his future until after the NFL draft, the Arizona Republic reports.
"It's very early in the game for Az, with a number of teams wanting to talk to him after the draft," Hakim's agent, Chuck Price, said.
The Cardinals are thought to be a good fit for Hakim, given his his friendship with quarterback Kurt Warner, a former teammate in St. Louis, and because of Hakim's ability to return kicks and punts.
However, the two side remain far apart on compensation, and Price said he will talk to several other teams, including the Lions, Bears, Rams, Jets, Raiders and Dolphins."
I'd sure as hell take him back! He's awesome! But I really doubt it'll happen, but hey ya never know

Re: Hakim??
Hakim has surely gotten past The Fumble syndrome. :football:
...In which case, yes, I'd like to see him compete against McDonald. You're right, Varg6, one never knows.

Re: Hakim??
well the wounds of his fumble in the saints playoff game that could have cut short the greatest comeback of all time-are marginally less raw than they were!
its nothing personal i got a lot of love for az for what he did for this team, its just seeing his name let alone seeing him again in a rams uniform will always bring me back to that traumatic experience in my life that ive been trying to wash away or drown with bourbon!

Re: Hakim??
Ok, you gave me a good chuckle Drew, thanks for that. However, back to Hakim. He didn't fumble in the Super Bowl against the Pats I don't believe, recollection tells me it was Proehl.

Re: Hakim??
I hate to say this cause AZ is a very exciting and explosive player, But when is the last time he played more than 10 games in a season ?? Sorry AZ I'll pass.

Re: Hakim??
I have to agree, lets pass on AZ, that fumbles still leaves a bad taste. Plus i dont want to get into bringing back players just because they played some good football for us in years past. Time to move on. We can pick up a good return man in the mid to late rds of the draft.
