    Haldley speaks on off season

Hadley claims that free agent Ed Hartwell will be the Rams top priority this off-season. Also says this will be it for Pace. Either he signs a long term cap friendly deal or they let him walk.

I have a system for determining whether anything John Hadley says is accurate.

I consider the wording of his statements, the sources cited, his tone, the presence or absence of coroborating reports, and my own personal observations.

    Then I flip a coin.

Let's hope so, although I'm unclear on how well a 3-4 middle linebacker will transition to a 4-3 defense. Has Hartwell benefitted from having Ray Lewis beside him on the field, or is he a playmaker as well? Perhaps we'll find out for ourselves.

They'd better not be waiting on a contingency plan if Pace does in fact walk. I don't want to see Grant Williams at left tackle in 2005.

Thats scary, Williams on Bulger's blind side. What do you think would be the over/under on Bulger staying alive if that was the case?

Let's put it this way - if Grant Williams finds himself starting at any position on our line next year, I'd see if I could sneak my way into Bulger's will.
