Hank Fraley to visit rams

Cut by the Cleveland Browns last week, veteran offensive lineman Hank Fraley is going to visit the St. Louis Rams, according to his agent, Ralph Cindrich.

Fraley is an experienced blocker with 52 starts for the Browns over the past four seasons.

He previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Last season, Fraley appeared in 15 games with four starts.

His release wasn't a surprise considering the presence of talented young center Alex Mack, the Browns' first-round pick last spring.

Now, he's in a job-hunting mode.

The Rams are his first visit since being released.

Could move in to guard. Certainly a better option than Incognito. Another former Eagle.

we only have one Centre on the Roster..and id much prefer Fraley stepping in if Brown got hurt than a scrub with no starting experience..also should be able to play some guard if needed...id be cool with us signing Hank if it comes to it.

I think bringing in Fraley to both comepete for a job starting at Guard but also be a good reserve at Center would be a good move by the FO

I think it's a good move if we sign him. You always gotta have depth on the line. Also it's good to see that maybe the people up top are making a move to bring in some veteran players.
