Besides any member of the Fearsome Foursome, a little member of the Rams of that era is Eddie Meador who could hit with the best. :ramlogo:

Got to go with my man Jack "The Duke" Youngblood. He would make the QB pay for sitting in the pocket too long.

Excellent call mr. wanderer on eddie meador. I believe he is still the rams all time leader in interceptions. He was the nolan cromwell of his day.

Has anyone out there been around long enough to have seen Dick Night Train Lane play for the Rams. He made the clothesline tackle famous in the secondary.

    Hardest hitters?

I'd have to go with St. Clair. That hit on Warner that St. Clair allowed Arrington to deliver to blow the game at the end, had to be one of the nastiest hits of all time ... and he was consistent like that all year ...

But on a serious side ... combine the "head slap" of Deacon with the INTs of the Night Train, along with his clothesline and you have got the meanest mo'fo combination ...
