Rams | Hargrove injury not serious
Thu, 10 Aug 2006 22:53:36 -0700
Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams DL Anthony Hargrove's (knee) knee injury is not considered serious. Hargrove said he returned to the game before the starting defense was pulled from the game. He did not get the knee X-rayed after the game.

Whew! Don't want any of our first team players to be injured in pre-season!
Thanks, LARFLT, Nick, for the news / update. I was totally unaware. I realize that these setbacks occur every single year during pre-season. Big names or not, it's just something that is dreaded and yet, virtually unavoidable.
GO RAMS!

Re: Hargrove spraigned right knee
It was actually kind of funny. Buck and Aikman announced Hargrove's sprained knee and a "doubtful" return....the next shot was Hargrove and Jackson standing on the sideline cracking jokes to each other.
Yea, I don't think it was that serious either."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
